Privacy Policy

This policy explains what V489 (v489.app) collects and why.

Data we collect

• From Discord, when you sign in: your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, server tag status, membership in the V489 server and your roles there. We never receive your password or email.
• What you post: chat messages, beats you upload (audio files), reviews, ratings, votes and Vault links.
• Technical: a session cookie to keep you signed in (30 days), and standard server logs from our host.

How we use it

• To check you're a V489 member and show your rank.
• To run the site's features. Chat messages you send with "Also post to Discord" switched on are copied to the matching V489 Discord channel, and messages from those channels are shown on the site.
• Moderation. Staff can see who wrote an anonymous review.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. It's processed by our infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare R2 (audio storage), Fly.io (Discord bridge) and Discord.

Your choices

You can revoke V489's access any time in Discord → User Settings → Authorized Apps. To delete your data, email contact@v489.app.
